Objectives
The training is aimed at veterinarians, community animal health workers and extension workers of the national agricultural research institutes affiliated with the Livestock and Fish program sites and with the Africa RISING project.
The training will involve 22 people, 2 people from each of the 7 Livestock and Fish sites and 2 people each from the 4 Africa RISING woredas. Objectives: At the end of the training participants: - understand the rational of participatory epidemiology - can apply key tools used in participatory epidemiology surveys - understand key issues related to gender - can integrate gender issues in surveys - are equipped to conduct focus group interviews in the Livestock and Fish programme and Africa RISING project sites
