L&F proposal development workshop – Faciltators’ Agenda Naivasha 24-28 November 2014


Objectives: To elaborate proposals for gender integration in the CRP L&F To strengthen participant knowledge and understanding of: i. L&F gender strategy and resource people ii. Key gender concepts relevant for gender in agricultural research for development iii. Methodological issues and approaches for integrating gender into technical research To form a network of L&F Gender Fellows for peer-to-peer support as well as engagement with the L&F gender support structure.

The workshop will support participants in elaborating/ finalizing their submitted concept notes. The workshop will include plenary sessions (mainly for introducing concepts) as well as time for individual writing, coaching sessions with KIT advisors and the CRP gender team, as well as peer review in small groups. Effort will be made to stimulate cross-flagship learning and interdisciplinary exchange and collaboration.
