News and Updates

A two days team meeting for the livestock and fish genetics, among the 4 components of the Livestock and Fish CGIAR research program starting today 30 July, is being held at ILRI Nairobi. Meeting objectives are to; develop a common understanding of the objectives of the Component and the proposed approach; review and refine the implementation plan and agree on the timetable for 2012; identify resource mobilization priorities and agree on responsibilities. Participating are scientists from ILRI, ICARDA and WorldFish, with the DGs of both ILRI and WorldFish present.
